This is a project undertaken during a week workshop with Vee Speers at the Rencontres Photographiques d’Arles in July 2014. The project focuses on  adolescents learning to become professional bullfighters. Their expressions carry the fragility of the adolescence but also the strength and the self-determination related to their choice of career. This also about femininity and masculinity as both tangle interestingly in the rituals of the profession.
